Hope & Healing in Times of Crisis
Would it surprise you to know that the largest opportunity for positively impacting our community is through the Fresno Police Department? The FPD receives on the average of 1,200 calls every day. Each call is from someone who is hurting and needs help. That’s where the Chaplaincy comes in, stepping into crisis, to offer hope and healing.

Meet Jacque Morton…
My name is Jacque Morton. I am Originally from Arizona. I have one daughter and two grandsons. My one grandson is in his second year of teaching Math at Clovis High School, and my other grandson graduates in May from Long Beach State University with his Aerospace Engineering degree.
I worked in the mortgage banking industry, in middle management, for 25 years. The Lord then called me into fulltime ministry, as a missionary, with Evangelism Explosion. I have been in the position for 33 years, and I am still working as a fulltime missionary, raising 100% of my salary, office overhead, travel, etc. Serving in this ministry has provided me the opportunity of being in all 50 states, some more than once, and 16 foreign countries. I am just getting ready to travel to the Dominican Republic for the Congress of Nations with Evangelism Explosion.
In addition to my fulltime ministry, I currently volunteer as a Citizens on Patrol and as a Chaplain with Fresno Police Department. In June, I will be completing my 2 years of service with the Fresno County Civil Grand Jury. I am the Production manager for our Sunday morning services and for years have been the Stage Manager, prop master, and stage crew director for all our Christmas and Easter productions. I started as a Citizen on Patrol and Chaplain around May or June of 2012, and I am hoping to continue serving as long as possible!
